Trey Foshee, George’s California Modern Executive Chef/Partner, has been described as “evoking San Diego and capturing its culinary essence – on a plate." Working with predominantly locally-sourced products, Chef Foshee artfully combines ingredients to create modern dishes that yield not only pure, intensified flavors, but also interesting flavor combinations that surprise and delight.
For Restaurant Week, guests can enjoy the full menu. Items included in the Restaurant Week pricing are designated on the menu and alternative menu items can be ordered for a supplemental charge, allowing for greater choice within the prix fixe structure.
George’s California Modern is located on the lower level of George’s at the Cove in La Jolla. Restaurant Week pricing is not available at George’s Ocean Terrace (upper level).
